I hope this article sheds some light on what you should pay attention to in your franchise agreement. This is the third article in the series and there will still be many other conditions in any franchise agreement that you need to read carefully. The franchise ownership model is based on the goodwill established in the franchise company, the franchisor`s brand. In essence, the franchisee pays the right to use the franchisor`s brand, especially its brands. Of course, this right is not unlimited and the franchise agreement contains a multitude of restrictions and controls on how the franchisee can use the franchisor`s brand. (i) meet all reasonable requirements that comply with the terms of this agreement and are communicated from time to time by the crosser for effective business activities; 1) Definition 1.1 “customer”: the person, company or any person acting on behalf of and with the customer`s authority who asks IFB to provide the services in accordance with a proposal, offer, order, invoice or other document, and (a) when there is more than one customer, a reference to each customer is jointly responsible; and (b) if the client is a partnership, it binds each partner together; and (c) if the client is part of a trust, he is bound as an agent; and (d) executors, administrators, successors and authorized beneficiaries of the transfer of the client. 1.2 “confidential information” confidential information that is not limited to this contract, i.e. intellectual property, operational information, know-how, trade secrets, financial and commercial affairs, contracts, customer information (including: but not limited to “personal information” such as: name, address, D.O.B, profession, driver`s license details, e-mail , Facebook, Twitter or any details of social media), details of medical insurance or additional family information and other contact information (if applicable), previous credit prices. 1.3 “Contract” refers to the terms contained with an offer, an order, an invoice or other documents that are expressed as a complement to that contract.
